Vestar Begins Renovation of West 7th

Vestar has begun renovations on their premier Fort Worth property, West 7th. The 13-acre development is located on West 7th Street and University Drive in the Fort Worth Cultural District. The five-city block area houses many Fort Worth favorites such as Waters Bonnell’s Coastal Cuisine, Movie Tavern, LA Fitness, Kona Grill, Flirt Boutique, WRARE, Bar Louie, Toni & Guy and more. The real estate market in Fort Worth is booming and West 7th is in a perfect location to take advantage of that. With the recent renovations, West 7th is sure to be a hit with both residents and businesses alike.

Construction will begin in October and will reflect an over $4 million investment in the property. Vestar, the property management firm for West 7th, expects the renovations to be complete by the holiday season.

The focus of these renovations is to enhance the overall consumer experience throughout the center and to further define the West 7th development. The project includes the addition of ambient lighting, greenery and landscaping, seating, improved garage signage and directional signage, an event space and a kids play area.

“We’re excited about some eye catching new additions to the center such as the ‘Iconic Ring’, an LED infused circular metal sculpture that will be installed over one of our main intersections at Currie and Crockett Streets,” says Max Holderby, General Manager of West 7th. “Further, the event space we are building out at Crockett Square – the intersection of Tillman’s
Roadhouse, Thirteen Pies, Hacienda San Miguel, and Rafain Brazilian Steakhouse – will provide a defined space for our many attractions such as weekly live music and monthly events.”

Access to parking garages for customers of West 7th merchants will not be affected.

West 7th is a strategic blend of pedestrian-friendly urban elements positioned in a mixeduse community offering retail, entertainment, office and residential. To learn more about the West 7th development, please visit www.West-7th.com.
